Dr. Smith received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 1997, graduating with honors. He received his acupuncture certification in 2000 and his acupuncture orthopedics certification in 2002. Dr. Smith also has advanced certification in the treatment of motor vehicular trauma from The Spine Research Institute of San Diego. He completed his undergraduate studies at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania.
After living and practicing for a few years in Georgia, Dr. Smith, along with his wife Margie, decided to make the Hampton Roads area their home. They now live in Virginia Beach with their two daughters, Julia and Hannah.
Dr. Smith has been practicing for over 20 years. He realizes that every patient and condition is different. This has motivated Dr. Smith to become a student of many different adjusting and soft tissue techniques. This way each client has a treatment plan tailored to their specific needs.
